Poland - Dennis Ackroyd, 73, of Poland, Maine, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, after a cardiac event. Born on June 24, 1952, in Lawrence, Massachusetts, Dennis was the son of the late David and Adele (March) Ackroyd. Dennis found his lifelong partner in Susan (Pelrine) Ackroyd while in college. The two were wed on June 1, 1974, beginning an almost 52-year journey defined by partnership and growth.
