HAVERHILL, MA: Eric S. C.”Eggy B.” Benedict, 25, of Haverhill, Mass., passed away on Monday, February 1. He was a lifelong resident of Haverhill and was educated in the Haverhill school system. Eric played youth hockey and enjoyed playing pond hockey. He has a great sense of humor and liked to play practical jokes. Eric loved to ride his dirt bike and to go boating with his uncle.

Eric will be sadly missed by his parents, Heidi (Colwell) and Kenneth Benedict of Haverhill, Mass.; his paternal grandparents, Christa and Robert Scott of Haverhill, Mass.; his maternal grandparents, Elva and Peter Peters of Hampton, N.H.; uncles, Duane Benedict and wife, Donna, Curt Benedict, Danny Bilodeau and wife, Lena, Rusty Russell, Peter Russell and Sue, and Kevin Sanborn and wife, Darlene; aunts, Barbara Gagnon and husband, David and Colleen Benedict; many cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his uncle, Wayne Benedict.

Calling hours will be Wednesday, February 10, from 3 to 7 p.m., at Douglas & Johnson Funeral Home, 214 Main Street, Salem, NH. The funeral service will be Thursday at 10:30 a.m., at Centerpoint Community Church, 101 School Street, Salem, NH.
