North Andover - Frances Ippolito DeMarco, 89, of North Andover, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2020. Frances will be remembered for her love of spending time with family and friends. Whether it was dining at her favorite restaurant or playing Bridge, she always brought her sense of humor and a kind heart. Frances loved cooking for her family and tending to her garden. She was especially proud of her poppies.

Born in Lawrence to Alexander and Vincenza Ippolito, Frances was a lifelong resident of North Andover. Frances was a graduate of Johnson High School class of 1948. She worked at the IRS as a tax analyst and enjoyed volunteering in the community.

Frances is survived by her three children, Philip DeMarco, Joseph DeMarco, and Cynthia (DeMarco) Bennett. She leaves behind seven grandchildren, Daniel Bennett and his wife Amber Bennett, Katey Bennett, Jessica (DeMarco) O'Donnell and her husband James O'Donnell, Christopher DeMarco and his wife Jamie DeMarco, Alexandra DeMarco, Emily DeMarco, Kelli (DeMarco) Pullen and her husband Jake Pullen.

Also known as Great Nana or Nani, she is survived by her nine great-grandchildren, Brayden, Mackenzie, Amelia, Aidan, Finn, Jonah, Austin, Cian and Declan.

So very sorry for the loss of your Mom. She was a very special lady to so many . I am so glad I had the time to have dinner with her a couple of weeks ago. I always enjoyed her company. She was always such a Lady. My best to all of you, especially during these difficult times of late. She will be missed.
