Methuen - Gail H. Hardacre, 68, of Methuen, MA, passed away on August 1, 2026, in her home, while surrounded by her beloved family.
She was born on May 11, 1958, in Lawrence, MA, to the late Raymond and Marguerite (Townsend) Gordon.
Gail met the love of her life, Daniel "Danny" Hardacre in 1978, and the two were married in 1980. Together, Danny and Gail raised their family in Methuen, where she would remain for the rest of her life.
Gail liked to keep those around her on their toes and was known for her "off the wall" personality. She was a bingo fan and enjoyed many camping trips to York Beach and Three Ponds in Brentwood. Gail was also a beloved mother and "Grammy" to her 3 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
In addition to her beloved husband of 46 years, Daniel Hardacre, Gail is survived by her children, Tammy Hardacre and her partner, Jose Madera, Aaron Hardacre, and Joseph "Joey" Hardacre; Grandchildren, Destiny Bennett and her husband, Alex, Jose Madera Jr., and Joshua Madera; great-grandchildren, Mia and Daniel Bennett; siblings, Kathy Jones and her husband Louis, and Gary Gordon; as well as many cherished nieces, nephews, and members of her extended family.
Gail was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Jimmy Gordon.
