George Bill Trapalis Obituary

Haverhill - George Bill Trapalis, 82, of Haverhill, MA, passed away on July 6, 2026, at Hillsborough County Nursing Home, Goffstown, NH.

He was born in Haverhill on December 24, 1943, son of the late William and Beatrice (Valvaras) Trapalis.

George graduated, Class of 1967, from Bentley College with a degree in accounting. He was employed at a variety of companies where he was a controller, working at Cox Seafood in Tampa, Florida for many years.

He loved boating on Lake Winnipesaukee and Tampa Bay where he owned Chris crafts cabin cruisers he enjoyed fishing and had a collection of different types of fishing rods and reels, and was extremely passionate about reading history books and biographies of president and military heroes. Listening to the history channel for hours on the leaders and formal leader of this country. He was very proud to be Greek American and celebrated his culture in history through music and books. He also enjoyed going to the beach and sitting at local marinas discussing boats and fishing.

George is survived by his daughter; Christina Keeler and her significant other Russell Payne, of Epsom, NH, grandchildren Sarah Keeler and Colin Keeler. He had many friends throughout the years in Haverhill and Salem NH.

During his 25 years in Tampa Florida, he was lovingly supported by his longtime companion Linda Crosby and her family, Jaqueline and Scott LeDuc, their children Killian and Cameron, as well as the Oliva Family.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his graveside service on Thursday, July 16th at 1:30 p.m. in the Linwood Cemetery, Haverhill.
