PLAISTOW, NH: Heaven received two new occupants in 2015. Gertrude “Trudy” Cosgrove (July 12, 1926 – November 8, 2015) and Royston “Roy” Cosgrove (November 22, 1924 – December 25, 2015) passed away in Florida. Both had been employed at AT&T in North Andover for over 30 years while residing in Plaistow, N.H. Upon retirement, they relocated to sunny and warm Spring Hill, Fla.

Roy served in the United States Navy during World War II and was a member of the Carl Davis Post 34 of the American Legion in Plaistow, N.H., for over 60 years, and the Elks Lodge in Brooksville, Fla.

They were predeceased by their son, Roy Cosgrove, Jr. in 2009. Trudy is survived by her sister, Margaret, of Florida. Both are survived by several nieces and nephews.

Internment with Military Honors took place in the Florida National Cemetery, 6502 S.W. 102nd Avenue, Bushnell, FL 33513. Memorial donations may be made to the Gulfside Hospice Center at Bayonet Point, Hudson, FL, Pasco County 34667 or a charity of the donor’s choice.
