Glen MacIsaac Obituary

Arlington, MA - Glen MacIsaac was born in Cambridge, on January 22, 1978 to Linda (Doucette) MacIsaac and the late John Lewis MacIsaac. For his early years he resided in Arlington. He attended Arlington High School and later the Berkshire School.

Glen was a graduate of the United States Military Academy where he was a member of the Division 1 Army Hockey Team. He then went on to serve as a captain in the US Army from 2001 until 2006. He most recently was employed by Philips Healthcare as a program manager.

Despite any of Glen's personal achievements he is most well known as a loving father to his three amazing children. Glen was heavily involved in all his children's extracurricular activities. He was most commonly seen at many local area hockey rinks while cheering for his two twin boys, Aiden and Liam and boasting with pride as he watched them excel. He could also be found attending his daughter Kelsey's cheerleading and dance events with so much love for his baby girl.

Glen had a very large presence and a contagious smile. Most would describe him as "larger than life'. His vivacious personality and love of music usually lead him to be the first on the dance floor. Always ready with a wisecrack or joke, the laughter was infectious whenever he was around. Other words that come to mind when close friends and family think of Glen are invincible, a character, generous, loving and he always "dared to be great".

He had a huge heart and was a dedicated friend to many. Always willing to lend a hand. Glen had a way of making everyone around him feel special and important and he will be greatly missed.

Glen is survived by his 3 beautiful children, Aiden, Liam and Kelsey. His mother, Linda (Doucette) MacIsaac. His brother David & fiancé' Kerry Spence of NJ and Todd and his wife Jennifer MacIsaac of Woburn, his niece Everly, and his loving partner Mary Ellen Bernier. Glen was predeceased by his father John Lewis MacIsaac.
