Lawrence - Gordon A. Haines, 68, passed away on Saturday, June 15, at his home in Lawrence. He was the son of the late Arthur and Anne (Stravinskas) Haines.

He was a friendly outgoing person who could easily strike up a conversation with his quick wit. He enjoyed spending time with family, and loved to get a good card game of either 45s or poker going. He was also a lifelong wrestling fan.

Gordon attended Methuen schools and had previously worked in the textile industry in Lawrence alongside his brothers Earl and Frank.

He is survived by his son; four brothers and sisters; and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
