Jacob M. Haseltine, 20, of Haverhill passed away Monday, November 6, 2017 in Cambridge.

He was born in Cambridge February 24, 1997 the son of David P. Haseltine and Kim (Trvalik) DiBurro. Jake was raised in Plaistow, N.H. and is a 2015 graduate of Timberlane High School in Plaistow. While in high school he excelled in all his classes, art and was a three sport athlete for his school. Jake was a Philosophy major with an English and art minor at Suffolk University in Boston. After graduation he was planning on attending law school at Suffolk. He was a member of The National Honor Society of Leadership and a Disc Jockey at the Suffolk Student Radio Station. Jake was employed at Staples were he was known for his ability to sell just about anything to anybody, regardless of need. Most recently he was employed with Landscape Solutions in Plaistow and served his law internship with Paul Magliocchetti- Attorney at Law. Jake was known as “The Artist Extraordinaire “and was gifted in painting drawing and sketching. He was also a talented guitarist and songwriter. He wrote poetry and short stories which he was hoping to publish someday. He was published in the Suffolk University literary and arts magazine Venture. Friends and family were always amazed and impressed with Jake's art and his vast knowledge and talent for music. His insight into current events and politics always sparked great conversation.

Jacob is survived by his mother, Kim (Trvalik) DiBurro and husband, Jeff of Plaistow, N.H.; his father, David Haseltine and three brothers, Isaac Haseltine, Kyle DiBurro and Jake DiBurro. He also leaves behind his grandmothers; Dorothy Trvalik and Carole DiBurro, several aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends. Jacob will be dearly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visiting Hours will take place Sunday, November 12, 2017 from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Grondin-Carnevale Funeral Home, 129 Kenoza Ave., Haverhill, MA 01830. A Funeral Mass to celebrate Jacob’s life will take place Monday at 10AM from The Saint Luke the Evangelist Parish, 8 Atkinson Depot Road Plaistow, NH 03865. A burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery in Haverhill.
