Byfield - Jacqueline "Jackie" M. (Glew) Laroche, age 74, of Byfield, MA, passed away on May 2, 2026, at Anna Jaques Hospital in Newburyport.

She was born in Lynnfield, MA, on December 26, 1951, daughter of the late Jack and Norma (Kerry) Glew.

A graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1969, Jackie was an active participant in the Geography Club, Latin Club, and Pep Club.

Jackie retired in 2014 from WellPoint after more than 15 years of dedicated service in the insurance eligibility department. Prior to her employment with WellPoint, she was an in-home child care provider for a wonderful family, where her strong morals, values, and deep love for children were evident in the care she provided.

She found happiness in life's simple moments—whether cooking meals that brought everyone together, creating and working on crafts, or spending time with family and friends. She cherished her time in Florida, where she enjoyed tea with her mother and peaceful days at the beach. Jackie loved unconditionally, always putting others before herself and offering warmth, comfort, and support without hesitation. Her husband, her soulmate and best friend, was at the heart of her life, and together they built a love that was unwavering and deeply cherished. Her granddaughter Finnleigh was also her soulmate and best friend, sharing a bond that was truly special. Above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren and family, who were the center of her world. The memories she created with them will be treasured always.

She is survived by her beloved husband of 53 years, Roger R. Laroche; her children, Andrea M. and her husband William Hoole of Byfield, and Craig M. Laroche and his wife Allesandra of Plaistow, NH; her siblings, Paula and her husband Douglas Potter of Alton Bay, NH, Kerry Glew and his wife Adela of Sebastian, FL, Cynthia Swasey of Dover, NH, and Roger Glew and his wife Linda of Little River, SC; her grandchildren, Taylor Laroche, Andrew Laroche, Carmela Laroche, Finnleigh Hoole, Cheyanne Hoole, and Trevor Hoole; her in-laws; her lifelong best friends, James and Doreen Sciuto; as well as numerous friends, nieces, nephews, and extended family.

She was also the mother of the late Kim Ann Laroche, who passed in 1978, and the sister of the late Gerald Glew and sister-in-law of the late Ronald Swasey.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend calling hours on Thursday, May 7, from 5–7 PM at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St. Bradford, MA.
