Haverhill - Jacquelyn Davidson, of Haverhill, MA, passed away on Thursday, May 14, 2026, at the age of 87.

Born in Norway, Maine, Jacquelyn was the daughter of the late Charles Allen and Dorothy (Gately) Allen. She was a 1956 graduate of Haverhill High School and dedicated over 30 years of her career to New England Telephone. Following her retirement, she enjoyed her time working at the Rockingham Mall and later with the Internal Revenue Service.

Jacquelyn's greatest joy was her family. She cherished vacations at the beach and family gatherings, and she especially loved spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her husband, James P. Davidson; her brother, Stephen Allen; and her stepdaughter, Susan Slate. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Turcketta of Haverhill; two sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Hickey and his wife, Kathleen, of Londonderry NH; and Timothy Hickey and his wife, Patrice, of Salem NH; a stepdaughter, Sallie Moynihan and her husband, Shaun, of South Dennis MA; two stepsons and their spouses, Mark and Suzanne Davidson of Newton NH, and Matthew and Michelle Davidson of Methuen MA, her grandchildren and great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jacquelyn's Calling Hours to be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Brookside Chapel & Funeral Home, 116 Main St., Plaistow, NH. Her Funeral Service will follow at 11:15 a.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place in Maplewood Cemetery, Plaistow, NH.
