Jean B. Herr, beloved mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend, passed away on Friday, June 16, 2017.
She was born on October 30, 1929, in Andover, and attended Punchard High School before moving from Massachusetts.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, George M. Ballantyne and Helen T. (Carroll) Ballantyne; and brother, George C. Ballantyne.
Jean lived the majority of her life in the Manassas, Va. area, and devoted her life to her family, her faith, and her community. She was loved by all who knew her.
Jean is survived by her children, Charles Francis Herr, Ellen Carroll (Herr) Guptill, Patricia Jean (Herr) Fullerton, William George Herr, and George Ballantyne Herr and their spouses; 15 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and many dear friends.
