Haverhill - Julie Barton, 82, lifelong resident of Haverhill passed away on May 6, 2026.

Born December 12, 1943, she was the only daughter of Homer and Dorothy (Markham) Chase. Julie was a graduate of Haverhill High School, Class of 1961. She worked as a nursing assistant for 37 years while raising her five children.

Her favorite charities were the National MS Society in support of her beloved friend Helen Beauregard who had MS as well as the Alzheimer's Society.

Julie is survived by her brother Peter Chase; children Christine (Coppola) Kannon and partner Bobby Meninger, Susan (Coppola) Claflin and husband Jon Claflin, Julianne Coppola, Robert Coppola, Anita (Coppola) Ash and husband, John Ash; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents and brother, Michael Chase.

Julie was an amazing woman who will be greatly missed.
