Dracut - Julie Anne Sullivan, age 59, of Dracut, MA formerly of Andover, MA and Baltimore, MD, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 11, 2026, with her devoted family by her side under the compassionate care of High Pointe House in Haverhill, MA.

Julie's life was a radiant example of joy, love, and pure-hearted kindness, she made the world brighter simply by being in it.

Born on September 29, 1966, Julie was the beloved daughter of Lorraine (Rabbitt) Sullivan and the late Daniel J. Sullivan. She grew up surrounded by a family who adored her, supported her, and celebrated the unique light she carried. Julie brought joy to everyone she met. Her smile, her laughter, and her gentle spirit made life better for so many people.

Julie was the dear sister of Elizabeth (Sullivan) Flanagan and her husband William, of Dennis, MA and Kristen Sullivan, of North Andover, MA. She was the precious aunt of Meaghan Liacos and her husband Jack, Michael Flanagan, and Brian Flanagan. Julie will also be dearly missed by her aunt and uncle Paul and Jane Rabbitt, her aunt and uncle John and Mary Sullivan, and many cousins and friends, including her Baltimore friends, who cherished her deeply.

She is predeceased by her aunt and uncle Marion and Richard Towle, whose memories remained close to her heart.

Julie loved life and she shared that love generously with everyone around her. She had a remarkable ability to make people feel happy, welcomed, and appreciated.

Her presence was sunshine; her laughter contagious; her kindness effortless. She loved the beach, where the sound of the waves and the warmth of the sun brought her peace and joy. She also loved mealtime with her family and friends, especially her favorite treats: hamburgers, any kind of chocolate, and a cold diet coke. These simple pleasures delighted her, and she enjoyed them with pure enthusiasm. Julie treasured riding in the golf cart with her dad, a tradition filled with laughter, fresh air, and the comfort of being together where she proudly proclaimed a 2 handicap.

She enjoyed all types of music and could dance to any tune. She also loved her favorite movies including Mamma Mia, E.T., Mary Poppins, and The Sound of Music, films she watched over and over with delight. She loved exercising to Richard Simmons "Sweating To The Oldies" workout videos. Julie proudly participated in the Special Olympics, where she excelled as a swimmer. She also enjoyed basketball and track and field, embracing every challenge with determination and joy. Julie's life was defined by love; love she gave freely and love she received abundantly.

Julie traveled extensively with her parents to locations including Cape Cod, the Delaware Shore, Florida, and the Outer Banks of North Carolina, creating memories filled with adventure, laughter, and family closeness. She made life better for everyone fortunate enough to know her. Her joy, her laughter, her kindness, and her pure-hearted spirit will live on in the hearts of her family, her friends, and all who were touched by her beautiful soul.

Julie leaves behind a legacy of happiness, warmth, and love. She will be remembered always for the way she made the world brighter.

Visiting Hours will be held on Monday, July 20, 2026 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Cataudella Funeral Home, 126 Pleasant Valley Street, Methuen. Her Funeral Mass will be celebrated the following morning, Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at 11 a.m. at St. Augustine Parish, 43 Essex Street, Andover. Burial to follow at West Parish Cemetery.
