Bradford - Kathleen A. Deveau, 81, of Haverhill, passed away on June 28, 2026, at Merrimack Health Hospital, Methuen.

She was born in Boston, MA on September 4, 1944, daughter of the late Salvatore and Helen (Ford) Yemma.

She was educated in the Pentucket School System. Graduating from Pentucket Regional High School Class of 1962.

Kathleen was employed at Raytheon, Andover for over 30 years before retiring in 2005. She was a Groveland resident for over 35 years.

Kathleen will be remembered by all for a life filled with friendship, dedication, kindness, laughter, and a pure love for life's simple joys. She was a wonderful, hardworking Mother and Grandmother. In her younger years she enjoyed dancing, vacations in Cape Cod with her family, and very much cherished camping with her son Chris when he was a boy, spending lots of time outdoors with him.

Kathleen truly enjoyed all of the children in her life. Her playful, youthful nature made for a lifelong, unforgettable best friend for each of her Grandchildren, as well as her beloved nieces and nephews, going on adventures, swimming, doing crafts, making brownies, cooking, playing and reading with them, wholeheartedly enjoying all of the things they loved to do.

She enjoyed regular vacations to Florida spending time making memories at the beach with her sister Patricia, brother Tony and his wife Cheryl. She was always on the move, setting aside lots of time for excursions with her siblings, friends and women's groups to dinners, theaters, NY and casinos.

Kathleen is survived by her son, Christopher Yemma and his wife Kerrilynn of Groveland, siblings; Tony Yemma and his wife Cheryl of Ipswich, Donald Yemma and his wife Carole of East Kingston, NH, Patricia Yemma of Ipswich, grandchildren; Katherine Harris, Brandon and Brooke Yemma, great grandchildren; Raelyn, Ryker and Rexton.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Monday, July 6th from 5-7 PM at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. Her funeral service will be on Tuesday, July 7th at 11:00 at the funeral home. Interment will follow in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford.

In lieu of flowers, the family would prefer a tree planted in her memory which can be done on the funeral home website.
