Groveland - Linda I. (Judson) Champagne, 74, longtime Groveland resident, passed peacefully Friday afternoon, August 9, at High Pointe Hospice House, Haverhill, surrounded by family and friends.
Born in Haverhill, November 5, 1944, she was one of four children of the late Clifton E. and Yvonne M. (Marchand) Judson Sr.
Educated in the Pentucket school system, Linda graduated from Pentucket High School, class of 1962.
After graduating High School, Linda was employed as a secretary at Norwood Insurance Agency in Groveland for over 50 years from where she retired in July of 2016. She left a long-lasting legacy there, well known to the community for her loyalty and support.
She cherished time spent with her grandson, family, and friends, never missing an event, birthday or celebration. Always one interested in others lives, Linda treasured time spent chatting and socializing with family, friends and strangers alike, be it over coffee, a meal or the phone. She was always willing to lend a hand when needed.
She leaves behind her daughter, Marie Champagne, a grandson, Jhodi Coates, a sister, Sandra (Judson) Lambert and her husband Alfred, a brother, Carl Judson and his wife Sandra all of Groveland, a sister-in-law, Jeanne Judson of Merrimac, as well as several nieces, nephews and cousins and dear friends.
Linda was the sister of the late Clifton Judson Jr. of Merrimac.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her calling hours on Wednesday, August 14, from 4 to 7 p.m. at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 So. Main St., Bradford. Her funeral will commence Thursday morning, August 15, at 9 a.m. at the Bradford Funeral Home, followed by a funeral Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St. Patrick's Church, So. Groveland.
