Bradford - Mary Patricia "Pat" "Mary Pat" Murphy, age 73, formerly of Bradford passed away April 5, 2026, at the High Pointe Hospice House in Haverhill.
She was born in Haverhill on June 20, 1952, daughter of the late Thomas J. Murphy, Sr. and Helen E. (Evans) Murphy.
She was a graduate of Haverhill High School and Hesser College in Manchester, NH with dual degrees.
Pat was an athlete involved in many sports including basketball, softball, golf and was a member of GAL (Girls Athletic League). She was also a member of the Women's Golf Association, often winning many tournaments, including the City Tournament one year.
Pat is survived by her siblings, Thomas J. Murphy, Jr. and his wife Diane of Waynesville, NC, Jane E. and her husband Richard A. Sasso of Groveland and Julie A. and her husband Charles P. Pierce of Bradford; as well as numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, April 9th from 10:30-11:30 a.m. at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St. Bradford. A Funeral Mass will follow the visitation at Church. Interment will be held in the Elmwood Cemetery, Bradford. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home.
