Sparks - Pamela Jean Leonard, née Russo, passed away peacefully on June 10, 2026, in Sparks, NV at the age of 81, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on May 21, 1945, Pamela dedicated much of her life to education. She taught elementary school in the New England area before continuing her career in Las Vegas, where she taught middle school.

Pamela also devoted many years of service to her work at St. Anne Parish in Hampstead, NH, a community that held a special place in her heart.

Pamela was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rolfe Leonard, who passed away in 2008, and by her loving parents, John and Mary Russo.

She is survived by her daughter, Kerry, and grandchildren Anthony and Gabriella; her son, Rolfe "Bob"

Leonard and his wife, Lorah, and their children, Rolfe Leonard III and Ginny.

Family was at the center of Pamela's life. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren and treasured the many memories they shared. Pamela enjoyed stained glass work with her husband, Rolfe, as well as sewing and glass fusion. She also greatly valued the close relationships she shared with her cousins throughout her life.

Pamela will be remembered for her devotion to her family, her years as an educator, and the many friendships she formed throughout her life.

A service celebrating Pamela's life will be held at a later date.

Pamela will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
