Ware - Pauline T. Michaud age 95 passed away on Saturday, May 16, 2026 with her daughter Carmen by her side at Baystate Wing Hospital in Palmer, MA after a short illness.

Born and raised in Lowell, Ma. Pauline was the beloved daughter of the late Albert and Diane (Tremblay) Lafortune. Pauline received her early education at Ste.Jeanne d'Arc Parochial School in Lowell and later at Macintosh College in Lawrence. She worked twenty years as a Senior Interviewer for the Department of Employment Security in Lawrence, Ma. At home she was an expert seamstress, enjoyed painting in watercolor and acrylics, cards, and puzzles. Her favorite was crocheting. All her children and grandchildren have one or more of her special crocheted afghans.

She was generous despite being of modest means. She donated to charities; helped family members pay for home additions, furnaces, college tuition; helped neighbors with rides, mended clothes and paid to have a tree cut down because it was threatening her car.

She lived in Lawrence, Ma for sixty-six years. Then broke up house to live with family in Plaistow, NH, Vancouver, WA, Lowell, Ma., and Barre, Ma. She spent her last year at Cedarbrook Village, an assisted living facility, in Ware, Ma. A special thank to Tammy, her attendant, for the loving care she gave.

She is survived by her two daughters, Diane (Bernie) Gallant of Plaistow, NH, Carmen (Mike) Morin of Barre, Ma, two sisters Jeannine Boston of Lowell, Ma; and Lucille Willis of Folcroft, Pa; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her sister Yvette Ayotte of Fremont, NH and her brother in law Clifford Boston of Lowell, Ma.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects on June 20, 2026 at 10 am followed by a Catholic Mass at 11 am both to be held at St. Theresa Church, 22 Plymouth St., Methuen, Ma. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers donate to the charity of your choice.
