Pauline Parnagian Obituary
Delray Beach - Pauline Parnagian, 98, of Delray Beach, Florida, and Methuen, MA, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 1, 2026. She was born in Lawrence, MA to the late Paul and Charlotte (Piligian) Boghus and later raised in Jamaica Plain, MA and Nashua, NH. She was the loving wife of the late George Parnagian.
Known as Polly to her family and friends, she was a force of nature with an unwavering focus and determination in all she undertook. With boundless energy, confidence, and unbridled optimism, she lived life at full tilt.
A lifelong learner, with an insatiable appetite for all that life offered, she lived by the motto "life is for the living!"
Polly was a woman before her time, with several career changes along the way. Early in her marriage, she and George founded several wholesale and retail businesses. She was particularly proud of working with her daughters, Cindy and Diane, to get the new family catering business and party store off the ground. Polly was instrumental in its early success and reputation for high-quality, with her daughter, Cindy, leading this top Merrimack Valley catering business for over 40 years at Party Connection.
Upon retirement, Polly was thrilled to spend time on her favorite things: reading, playing cards, spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren and visiting with her wide circle of friends and family, continuing to explore the world before her, always seeking out the new and the novel.
Pauline and George were children of Armenian Genocide survivors and understood the preciousness of life. As such, they were inspiring role models for enjoying life to its fullest, with zest and vigor and appreciation for all the gifts and beauty life offered.
Pauline is survived by her five children, Diane Juknavorian (Mark) of Methuen, MA, Kay Husson (her late husband, Robert), Paula Parnagian (and partner Bruce Ditata), Cindy Parnagian, and Christopher Parnagian. She is also survived by her grandchildren Tina, Michelle, Michael, Dara, Mark, and Gregory and great-grandchildren, Emma, Julian, Luke, Maxwell, and Audrey Rose.
Pauline is also survived by her sisters, Roseanne Parnagian and Sylvia Kasparian, and nieces and nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sisters, Diana Minasian and Linda Ainsworth, and her stepdaughter, Christine Parnagian Esposito.
