Bradford - Richard M. Brown, 84, passed away Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at Port Rehab & Healthcare Center, Newburyport.

He was born in Haverhill on January 19, 1942, son of the late Everett Milton and Anita Louise (Jutras Brown.

Dick graduated from Haverhill Trade School in 1960, where he received his education in electrical, which began his long career in electrical construction. He was a member of IBEW Local 103 for 57 years, worked for Broadway Electrical for 35 years, and worked as the site electrician at Salisbury Beach State Reservation for 17 years.

To Dick, family was the most important thing, and he was a proud husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather. He loved birdwatching and photography and enjoyed sharing his bird pictures with everyone. He also loved camping, fishing, boating, and was a licensed private pilot. He was a Freemason for over 40 years, was active in the Order of Eastern Star, and served on the advisory board for the Rainbow Girls in Haverhill and Georgetown for over 40 years.

Richard was predeceased by his wife Jeanne E. (Lebel) Brown in 2025, and his twin Brother Robert Brown.

He is survived by his three children: Martha. Verrington and husband Daniel of Castleton, VT; Peter Brown of Haverhill, MA; and Jennifer Clark and her husband Christopher of Haverhill, MA., 8 grandchildren: Hilary Sevigney and husband Adam; Sarah Robles and husband Rafael; Holly Brown; Caitlin Eramo and husband Alessandro; Lauren(LC), Alyssa, Ross, and Kassandra Clark. As well as 7 great-grandchildren: Audrey, Olivia, Isabelle, and Ethan Sevigney; Sinatra and Emerson Robles; and Clara Elodie Eramo; and his Brothers Joseph Brown of Myrtle Beach, SC, and Donald Brown of Hampstead, NH.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his calling hours on May 11, 2026, from 10:00 until noon at the H.L. Farmer & Sons Bradford Funeral Home, 210 South Main St., Bradford. Funeral service will follow at the funeral home. Interment will be in Main St. Cemetery, Rowley. Donations may be made in his memory to Georgetown Assembly No. 98 Order of Rainbow for Girls.
