Richard Lavoie Obituary
Salem, NH — Richard “Dick” Lavoie, 75, of Salem, NH died unexpectedly Monday at his home. Dick was born in Nashua, NH and was the son of the late Paul & Eva (Pederzani) Lavoie. He was educated in Nashua and was a graduate of Nashua High School. Dick was a member of the New Hampshire National Guard and was called to active duty in 1961. He was a longtime member of the Nashua Elks Lodge 720.
Dick was employed for many years as a store manager with the former Grand Union and Harvest Markets, and most recently worked as a salesman for Poland Springs before his retirement.
Dick is survived by his wife of 45 years Mildred (Finnichiaro) Lavoie of Salem, a daughter Tracey Larouco and her husband Tony of Windham, a son Jason Lavoie of Salem, NH, a brother Norman Lavoie and his wife Florence of Windham, NH 2 grandchildren Reese Larouco & Owen Larouco of Windham, NH, and several nieces and nephews. Dick was also predeceased by his brother Louis Lavoie
Dick will always be remembered for his immense generosity, dry humor and love for his grandchildren.
ARRANGEMENTS: Relatives and friends are invited to calling hours Wednesday May 23, 2012 from 4:00pm to 8:00pm at Cataudella Funeral Home 126 Pleasant Valley St. Methuen, MA. A Funeral Service will take place Thursday May 24, 2012 at 11:00am at the Funeral Home. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family.
