North Andover - Scott A. Sena, 38, passed away on February 9, 2020 in Delray Beach, FL due to complications from diabetes.
Born in Newton, Scott lived most of his life in North Andover, MA and Rockport, where he graduated from Rockport High School. He earned an Associate degree from the California Culinary Academy in San Francisco, CA in 2004 and went on to become an accomplished sushi chef at several local Boston area restaurants.
Growing up Scott was an avid hockey player, winning a PeeWee National Championship as part of his travel team in 1994. He loved surfing with his friends in Rockport and would spend his summers in the ocean off Long Beach catching waves. Recently he had moved to Delray Beach, FL and was enjoying the sun and surf that Florida affords.
His survivors include his parents, Allan and Elaine Sena of North Andover; his brother, Brian Sena and his wife Emily of San Mateo, Calif. and their children Jacob, Luke and Maggie; aunts and uncles, Karen Sena Berger and Dr. Leonard Sicilian of Rockport, MA, Paul Sena and Patty Wegmann of Rockport, Jeanne Wilson and Bill Tremblay of Delray Beach, Fla., Karen and Richard Butler of Burlington, Mass., John and Rita Matson of Hampstead, NH, and Eleanor and Tad Rubin of Coral Gables, Fla.; and numerous cousins.
A Memorial will be held later in the spring.

So sorry to hear this news. Scott was a close childhood friend and we played hockey together in North Andover. He will be missed tremendously. RIP bud.
