Bradford - Shirley K. Rocha, age 77, of Bradford, passed away on Saturday June 6, 2026, at her residence with her loving husband by her side.

Shirley was born on December 2, 1948, daughter of the late Harold F. and Mary A. (Kane) Kolb. She was raised in South Boston and graduated from St. Augustines High School in 1967. She went on to attend Boston State College where she obtained her bachelor's degree in education. She worked as an educator at Butler Elementary School in Belmont, followed by a long career as a supervisor at Western Electric in Watertown, and eventually Lucent Technologies in North Andover, where she retired from in 2000. In retirement, Shirley went on to work part time at the IRS in Andover, and she also volunteered her time at the Sacred Heart food pantry in Haverhill for many years.

Shirley married the love of her life, George Rocha, in 1970. They were married for 56 years, during which they traveled the world, hosted many family events, and were active members of their church.

"Auntie Shirley" was the ultimate aunt, whose generosity played an extraordinary role in the lives of many nieces and nephews she made a point to spend time with throughout the years. Whether she was taking them to amusement parks, museums, or even on vacations to Disney, she made their childhoods brighter and created lasting memories that will be cherished forever. While others may have forgotten, you could always count on a card in the mail from Aunt Shirley every year on your birthday.

Shirley is survived by her loving husband, George A. Rocha, her siblings Carol Zimmer of Holbrook, Linda Crowley of Dartmouth, Harold F. Kolb Jr. of Plymouth, brother-in-law of Gerald Rocha of Beverly, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend her Funeral Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday June 13, 2026, at 12:15PM at Sacred Hearts Church, 165 South Main St., Bradford, MA. Interment will be private at a later date. Arrangements are by the H.L. Farmer & Sons Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Bradford~Haverhill.
