Amesbury, MA - Thomas A. Hall, 57, of Amesbury, passed in the loving presence of his family and friends in the comfortable surroundings of his home, early Saturday morning, November 30, 2019, after a courageous 8-month battle with cancer.

Born in Amesbury, August 5, 1962, he was the son of the late Stanley H. and Shirley A. (Dollar) Hall and was a graduate of Whittier Vocational Technical School in Haverhill, with the Class of 1981.

As an exceptionally skilled mechanic, Tom, as he was known by all, enjoyed a 30-year career at Coady's Towing Service in Lawrence.

He was a hard working man, full of life, full of vigor, always on the go. His outgoing personality endeared him to everyone he met, resulting in a long list of friends who were always part of his life.

Predeceased by his parents and his his younger brother, Peter Hall, who died July 7, 2016, he leaves behind the rock of his life, his sister, Joyce A. Hall, who has been his constant support throughout his failing health, along with the countless dear friends who checked in on him and his best friend, who was like a brother, James Kelleher. His passing has left a deep void that only time can heal, but the endless memories of a life well lived and well loved will remain in the hearts of everyone who was a part of his life.

A graveside service will be held Friday, December 6, 2019 at 11:30 A.M. at Union Cemetery, Amesbury. In lieu of flowers, kindly consider making donations in memory of Thomas H. Hall to the charity of ones choice. Arrangements are by Paul C. Rogers Family Funeral Home, 2 Hillside Avenue, Amesbury.

You fought a hard and courageous battle my friend, I am so sorry that you lost your battle. Throughout the 11 years that we worked together at the garage, I never knew you to be anything but kind, thoughtful and funny. A true gentleman. Rest In Peace, Tommy, you will be missed.
