Thomas Pelczar Obituary

Thomas James Pelczar, of Plaistow, N.H., passed away July 26, 2017, after years of declining health.

He leaves behind the love of his life, Joanne, his wife of 36 years.

Tom graduated from the Greater Lawrence Vocational Technical High School and worked at Lawrence Pumps for many years. But, his true calling in life was his “devotion” to Moe, Larry, and Curly, collecting and selling their memorabilia at many local flea markets. Over the years, family and friends could be certain of receiving gifts from his collection accompanied by Tom quoting verbatim from a particular episode of Stooge films. ”Slowly I turn, step by step!” Tom was by far the Stooges’ biggest fan.

Tom was the son of the late John and Theresa Pelczar of Lawrence. He is survived by his sister, Beverly Stone and her husband, Cliff; brother, David and his wife, Maryann; sister, Linda Boutin and her husband, Kevin; sisters-in-law, Cheryl Mendozza, Debbie Sanatacrose, Linda LaChance, Mona Mendez; brothers-in-law, John Richie, Paul Richie; and several nieces and nephews.

At the request of the family, service and burial will be private.
