Dear John & Patti,
When Robert told me the news yesterday I was stunned and deeply saddened. Seems just like yesterday that "Tommy" was born and you were all so proud. And he carried your dear father's name, whom we will never forget. There is not much to say at tragic times like this. Just know that so many folks are praying for you and your family. And I hope that precious memories of Thomas will always make you smile and bring you comfort.

With Love & Deepest Sympathy,
Mike

Dear Patti and John the next Mass I attend will be in memory of your son.
I was just made aware of this sad loss on 11-7 otherwise I would have gone to the funeral home. My knowledge of the family comes from my
love for Lucy Martineau who I called my Memere'. I also lost my son Tommy many years ago and understand how really difficult this all can be. May the Lords wisdom and love be with you all, in this most difficult time. Sincerely yours and blessings + always.

John & Patricia,
I know it has been a long time since we have seen each other, however, friends do not forget friends. It is with great sadness I write this note, as words could not express my sentiments for the loss of your child. The passing of a son signifies the loss of more than just a treasured life. Such loss embodies the loss of future hopes. No parent is primed for losing a child, and when it occurs, their world is altered forever. I pray for the eternal life that he has now received.
