Thomas Yameen Obituary
Boca Raton - Thomas "Tom" Yameen, of Boca Raton, Florida and North Andover, Massachusetts, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family. A devoted family man, respected businessman, and a man of deep faith, Tom lived life fully and left a lasting impact on all who knew him.
Tom was the proud President of Butcher Boy Market, a family business that held a special place in his heart. He dedicated much of his life to the business, working side by side with his siblings, children, nieces, and nephews. He took tremendous pride not only in the success of the market but in the family legacy and relationships built through years of hard work and shared purpose.
Tom embraced life with enthusiasm and generosity. He formed lifelong friendships, enjoyed the game of golf, and was known for his warmth, humor, and genuine spirit. Tom loved negotiating a great deal and brought that same passion and energy to both business and life. He was also a strong advocate for education and had a special fondness for his alma mater, St. John's Preparatory School. Above all else, he was immensely proud of his family. His children and grandchildren were his greatest joy.
Tom is survived by his partner of 32 years, Kathleen Timmons. He leaves behind his loving children: Donna Yameen; Ellen Goodwin and her partner, Christopher Burt; William Yameen and his wife, Cynthia Yameen; and Allyson Turrisi and her husband, Daniel Turrisi.
He was the proud grandfather of Rose Goodwin Clark, Ann Goodwin, Scarlet Burt, Nina and Uma Yameen, and Maxwell, Julia, and Alex Turrisi, each of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.
Tom is also survived by his siblings, Kenneth Yameen and Joyce Maroun; as well as Kathleen's children, Michelle and her daughter, Alea, and Michael Dellolacono and his husband, John Meyer.
He was predeceased by his parents, James and Rose Yameen; his wife, Mary Elaine Yameen; and his siblings, William, Evon, and Daniel Yameen.
Tom's legacy lives on through the family he loved so deeply, the business he helped build and lead with pride, and the many friendships and lives he touched throughout the years. He will be remembered for his faith, his devotion to family, his love of life, and the kindness and strength that defined him.
A private Funeral Mass was previously held and directed by Conte Funeral Homes (www.contefuneralhomes.com)
