North Andover - Victor A. McNary, 79, passed away on May 24, 2026.

He was born on February 19, 1947, in Cambridge, MA, to the late Alice and Victor McNary.

Victor graduated from Cambridge Rindge & Latin and then joined the Pipefitters Union, Local 537. He married Judith (Dunbar) on October 26, 1968, at St. Francis Church in Charlestown, MA.

Victor coached softball in his free time. He also had a passion for fishing and attended several tournaments. Victor loved to eat and eat more than you could imagine. He also enjoyed poker and scratch tickets. Above all, he cherished time with family and will always be remembered for his generous and giving personality.

He is survived by his wife, Judith McNary; his children, Jill Hatheway and her husband, Al, Victor McNary and his wife Sue, Melissa Jacobsen and her husband David and Michael McNary and his wife, Sasha; his grandchildren Max Hatheway, Emily Hatheway, Serena McNary, Victoria McNary, Haley Loiacono McNary, Craig Nelson, Katy Jacobsen, Kiley Jacobsen, and Mason McNary; great-grandchildren, Kaiden, Hazel, Logan, Lilly, and Jacob; siblings Amy Guirleo, Lea Savageau, David McNary and Sam McNary.

Victor's family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care in his final days by the staff at Brightview Assisted Living and Ascend Hospice.

A Funeral Mass will take place on Saturday, June 13, 2026, beginning at 11:30 a.m, at St. Charles Catholic Church, 280 Main Street, Woburn, MA 01801. There is no burial to announce at this time.
