I remember Vinny so well. He lived 3 streets behind me in Lawrence and we interacted during our high school years especially horse back riding in New Hampshire with other friends. The year we graduated (1961) we joined the Air Force under the "buddy" program. One year I took a one week leave and visited him for several days at Pope Air Force Base in North Carolina. We were discharged on the same day in 1965 and saw each other several times. Janet, his wife, was a bride's maid during our wedding. Vinny was one of the nicest guys I ever met and I am proud to say that he was a great friend. So sorry for his lost.

Dearest Janet and family, I have many fond memories of Vinny and my brother Paul growing up at Sacred Heart. Vinny's ability to make us laugh brings a certain joy to my heart now and I know the love he shared with all of us was quadrupled for his family. Much love and prayers from Bob and I as you go thru this difficult time.

As Vinny was the director of Raytheon's ACT NOW Program, I interfaced with him constantly. He was a man of constant joyous behavior. Nothing would ever get him down.
